Taken from a session in 1996 at Witzend Studios with Allan Dawson. Dave Ferguson might have played some guitar on this one too, but none of us can remember…ha!  Brad reckons he did, so we’ll go with that.

The song was primarily inspired by an incident that happened to my flatmate at the time and bass player Dj Davy.  He had just finished a gig with ‘The Kaper’ at Arcadia in Northbridge and loaded all his gear into his car.  He popped back into the venue to say goodbye and have a quick knock-off drink, and by the time he came back out…Wallah! They’d stolen his car and all the gear with it…his favourite bass guitar gone for good.
So, that’s where the line “They stole my car…but worse than that still, is that they stole my guitar” comes from.
