The first song I ever remember writing. I’m guessing I was about 15 or 16, and not long after starting to learn the guitar. One of the lyrics mentions ‘standing at the crossroads’, so I’d already discovered the music of the great blues legend 'Robert Johnson’ and his contemporaries. I think the song sums up the dreams and aspirations of an adolescent teenager wanting to be a blues singer/guitar player...at the very start of their musical journey.
